Become a Census Partner

Working to ensure that every person in the Kansas City metro is counted in the 2020 Census, the Kansas City Regional Complete Count Committee invites those active in the community to become Census Partners. We are looking for trusted voices in the community, those individuals and organizations who are capable of reaching large audiences through social media or other forms of communication.

Partner Role

Census Partners will be asked to engage their respective constituents about the importance of the census, how to respond to the survey, as well as share census-related materials, social media posts and other relevant information to their audience.

Partners are organizations that are:

  • Committed to an accurate 2020 Census count
  • Serve hard-to-count populations
  • Participate in community events
  • Active on social media and have a large online audience

Examples of organizations encouraged to sign up:
•  Advocacy Organizations
